A new study group, an off-shoot of the excellent and long-established AEL (Ancient Egyptian Language) list has been started at the above address. It will use Allen's "Middle Egyptian" as a study text, and members will work through it lesson by lesson. This is due to kick off very shortly, so if you are interested now is the time to sign up - it is completely free of charge to join and take part, but you will need to buy Allen's book if you want to participate.
